Our DIY friends Nominated for Indie Spirit Awards!!!

A heartfelt and well-earned congratulations to our friends Lynn Shelton and Barry Jenkins for their nominations for this years Indie Spirit Awards!

This proves that the goal of doing good DIY work ultimately is making better films that go beyond just a filmmaker's indulgence, but do the job that all great films do. Communicate some indentifiable emotion within the hearts and minds of possibly a wider audience, while not sacrificing the integrity of the vision. There is no better thanks and support you can give your actors, your friends, your crew and your community, than to work hard on a film for little or nothing, and have the audacity to make it assessible and available to the widest amount of eyes and ears possible, while making intelligent usage of the channels of "corporate" entities. Win or lose, this is a huge acheivement. DIY filmmakers, and filmmakers in general should be incredibly proud. I know we are.

Incredible job guys. Its well deserved.
