CRITICALLY-ACCLAIMED ONE-MAN SHOW OFFERS 50% PROCEEDS TO “MIRANDA” - ONE NIGHT ONLY

NOVEMBER 30TH

8PM

Freeman In Paris” is a one-man show written and performed by Herb Newsome that explores the life of a group of bebop era jazz musicians as they search for freedom in America during a time of struggle, where the music was vibrant and the country was gearing up for a major change.

Herb Newsome transforms into multiple characters, weaving the story with live jazz music on five different instruments, a performance that critics have described as a “positively amazing” “one man marvel” with “August Wilson-like power.”

Writer/Performer Herbert Newsome is adding a Special Engagement show of his critically-acclaimed play on November 30th, 2010 to help raise money for the making of Kent Sutton’s feature film “Miranda.” Herbert will be generously donating 50% of the proceeds made from the evening.
