"Uptown" in The Baltimore Examiner

Corey Williams of The Baltimore Examiner wrote a cool piece about our 2nd feature film, Brian Ackley's Uptown (Special Edition DVD can be purchased HERE).

"'What are you doing with the salt' is Ben’s response when he is on his first date with Isabel. Isabel’s interesting response is the beginning of a wonderful independent film. “Uptown” is an independent film directed by Brian Ackley. The films focus is on Ben (Chris Riquinha) who has been single for a long time. Ben finds himself attracted to Isabel (Meissa Hampton) on their first date. Before the date is over Isabel opens up about her past five years and her present living conditions which throw Ben off balance."
