The House of the Devil

I'm usually too chicken to see scary movies, and let's admit it...most horror films today are just torture porn. I don't really like to see people get all cut up and cry. BUT I've always had a great deal of respect for the low-budget horrors of the 70's and 80's and really love the way they look. Those filmmakers were the indie innovators, the mavericks working outside of the system and they had a respectable niche market.

TI West's new film "The House of the Devil" looks like it comes from that same place yet has a fresh approach to the genre.
The film features indie Alt-Muse Greta Gerwig in a role unlike anything she has played before. The film takes place in the 1980's and looks really great.
Anyone get a chance to catch it at tribeca? I've only heard great things about the film and this is the first horror film since Jaws, that I am actually looking forward to seeing.
